Stanley unresponsive to claim & cancellation

Cancelled policy today 2/24/15 due to lack of response to service claim after trying to call to make a service claim on 2/23/15 and email for emergency claim via email the company never responded. In addition, in Sept 2014 I filed a claim it took 4 days before anyone from the company would call back and each time I would try to call auto-system disconnect. Therefore, I called to cancel on 2/24/15 the customer rep stated cannot cancel unless speaking with cancellation dept waited 3 hrs no returned call. I called back the same customer service rep stated he remembered cal from early and I stated I would like to speak with manager regarding cancelling and he stated no and disconnected call. I called back and different agent named Gregory stated the only way to cancel policy is to send email to support dept. and the rep Gregory was rude as well stating disregarding the fact that claims dept did not respond to claim even though in Cleveland Ohio on 2/23/15 negative degrees on 2/24/15 single digits temps. the rep Gregory also stated the only reason I wanted to cancel my service after being a customer for 1.5 yrs was due to to negative reviews. I made Gregory aware that my choice to discontinue being a Stanley warranty customer was based on my own interactions dealing with the companies poor customer service. I would Not recommend Stanley warranty to anyone. As a customer that pays for service ever month one should not have to beg for service to be rendered nor get the run around to cancel with Stanley due to poor service.

Signed up with them for extended warranty of 2 properties. On Jan 1st Furnace went down. No response to the mail sent to them and when after 50 tries some one picked up the phone and said it ll be taken care in 24 hours, Its been 8 days nothing happened so far. Tried to call them either no one pick up the phone or put you on hold for more than 30 mins & then hung up the line. Received 1 mail from them after 5 days with title "URGENT" someone will contact you soon for appointment. All I want to say Define URGENT & SOON.

Terrible service, they ignore claims, don't answer or return phone calls or emails.

first experience: We called for a water leak, put in a claim, never heard back from Stanley, tried leaving messages and email to no avail, finally called a plumber but was charged for service call, still trying to get this service call fee back. 2nd experience: Called for heater not working on a Wednesday, was told that we would hear from a technician with 24 to 48 hours, still no call, while temperatures are freezing. Left countless messages and emails to Stanley Warranty ( they do not pick up when you call the claim number) and still waiting for a call back 6 days later. Don't use them, RUN!

I have called and called and called, I have out a claim form several times, and nothing happens, Your told talk to this person, never happens , they take your money and do absolutely nothing, this company, is fraud and I have decided to contact the ins commissioner as well as file a police report, and start a class action law suit. stay away....they have only one operator, who transfers calls to people, that never pick up the phone, one of the biggest scams going on the internet, they have cost me over, 1,000. ripoff, I plan on taking this company to jail, FRAUD,FRAUD ,FRAUD

Stanley did'nt return calls after i had appliances repaired.

I went to the BBB and Consumer Affairs who said they had several complaints about the company and still no reply from Stanley.I filed in small claims court and 4 days before i was going to court, they called to settle my claim. They had one guy call who tried to put the bull on me and said they would counter sue.I had all my ducks in a row with my claim and told them I would see them in court. 10 minuets later I get a call from the resolution guy and wants to give me $100 bucks over what they owe me to settle and I told him to pack it and give me what i deserved and I was'nt a *** like them.I had certified letters,emails,numerous phone calls, and to boot I wrote a certified letter to discontinue the contract as they ask,and they stilled banged my credit card.I got it all back.The worst company I've ever delt with,but I got them.

Stanley Warranty doesn't pay their vendors or contractors

Stanley Warranty has put my company through the ringer trying to get paid for services preformed back in August of this year. To date I've sent them multiple invoices, tried to call them with no return messages and most of them time can't even get anyone to actually answer the phone. So I finally went ahead and filed a small claims case against them that I go to court for at the end of this month. If anyone else needs their information on who to send the paperwork to, to sue them, read below. It took me a fair amount of time and a little money to find this information out and I just hope someone else can use it and get something out of it.

This is a terrible company I purchased my policy in May 2013 I had a refrigerator go out on January 5th today is now the 15th I have yet to get a call back from them after calling multiple times and been told by their customer service rep that she would email the proper department and they would contact me before the end of the day I've called multiple times each day to their claims department sometimes I get somebody sometimes most of the time I don't to get somebody out different numbers for example sales it's the same people who I talk to in claims. They want to emphasize the recording all conversations and when I let them know that I am recording the conversation as well they tell me they don't give permission and hang up. This company is a scam I spoke with in the final time they asked me to send an email with a cancellation and if they would refund me my money they then sent me an email after only five months of service with them they were keeping all the money is being prorated hitting me with a $50 cancellation fee a $25 administration fee and I guess I'll have to expect a $75 bill in the mail because their e mail showed I still owe them $75 for canceling i'm up for a class action lawsuit if anyone else is

They collect your money, but never fix your problem

We have paid this company for two years. Our oven went out three months ago. We filed a service request many months ago without getting any response. We tried to call for service, they put you on hold for 30 minutes and then the phone disconnects. We called to sales department knowing that they will pick up the phone. We described our issue and asked to speak to a manager. The managers name was Antoine and he said we are very sorry and we are very busy and he also mentioned that we are scheduled to be serviced tomorrow. We were surprised that no one had contacted us to make an appointment and here Antoine was telling us that we are scheduled for service tomorrow. He gave us the name of the company that was supposed to come tomorrow. We called the company and they said we don't have an appointment with them tomorrow. They said as the matter of fact they don't work with Stanley Warranty anymore because that company does not pay its invoices. We have tried to call back or send email to Antoine and their service department without any response or success. Please do NOT work with this company as they only collect your money and never provide a service.

I finally needed to make a claim and after 5 emails and 5 voicemails that I have left, still no response, There is never an answer on their customer line nor on their claims line. Other times when I call, their line will just hang up on me. I will try to get my credit card company top reverse their charges. I also have not received the policy which was promised to be sent to me when I purchased the warranty. I also have left 3 emails asking for the warranty to be emailed to me but also no response.

Do not do business with this company. They do not pay their bills. We did a job in FEB 2014 and still have not been paid. We have called so many times and faxed and mailed copies. They always say they will send the check and never do. The have the most ad's on the internet but look at all the problems. PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY. You will not get paid. Also read about their customer service. Why is NJ not doing something about this company? The next step is to file a lein on the customers house. PLEASE READ

When i complained in a loud voice they hung up on me then emailed me saying I was verbally abusive and they have a zero bullying policy.. I have filed a complaint with BBB in New Jersey, but I will be calling them back..

They are the bullies.

I never cussed or called names I did raise my voice and try to talk over Trevor cause he wouldnt listen.

I submitted a claim online for my dishwasher on a Saturday. No one called back. I called Tuesday. They said it just got into dispatch and I should get a call later today. No one called Tuesday or Wednesday. My wife called on Thursday. They told her someone will call me soon that day. No one called. Called again asked to speak to supervisor, was transferred to a supervisor, got voice mail, left voice message. No one has called since. Now, no one answers the phone when we call. I feel violated. This company sucks, should not be in business!

They don't pay!

Did service work for Stanley in Sept 2014. It was a rush job and we went out of our way to accommodate the home owner and tenant. We did everything as they asked and submitted the invoicing timely matter. They do not pay. Said check was "en route" 3 months ago. If by chance you get someone on the phone they put you on hold and then disconnect the call. The automated line keeps you on hold for 20-30 mins and then disconnects. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT!!! be a vendor for this company….they simply do not pay! Worst company ever!
