Home Warranty with company.

I have home warranty with Stanley now and is now in the process of canceling my service with them. I signed up with them back in December and has had a problem with my washer for several months now and got in contact with them about a month in a half ago about the problem and they were suppose to send someone out the weekend that I got in contact with them. Here it is as I said a month in a half later and still noone has been out, and I have been calling them every other day with the same apology about they are sorry that the technician hadn't been out yet and is there anything that they can do to keep me from canceling the service and to please call them the next day at a specific time and they will be able to send a tec out. I did not call them for several days and then I get an email and a phone call stating that a tech was coming out to fix my washer. I called them and told them that I was going to cancel the service. So they gave me this e-mail address to go to to do that and I cannot get that address to pop up in order to cancel my services. This is the onley stanley company that I see listed and I do not know if it is the same company because the company that I am with is a Stanley Safe-Club Warranty Company for items in your home such as washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator,etc. But all in all, they are a bogus company and I tried to send in a letter to the BBB company about them.

All these other claims are true. I could not get them on the phone!! Still can't, going to court.. After getting a 1st estimate on my claim, no one wanted to talk to me. I called and called, faxed and wrote and no one contacted me. I had to contact my credit card company to get their withdrawls stopped. They finally called and left me ONE message to offer to pay part of the repair but never got anyone to answer my call back. THEY MADE UP ESTIMATES WITH COMPANIES THAT NEVER CAME TO MY HOUSE, to justify that they were providing me service. They mailed these documents to my credit company. In my book that is mail fraud.

I have paid Stanley Warranty Services

$40.00 per month for 15 months. My first time calling was 4 days ago & no one will answer the phone.

I have tried every option on the phone & still no human-service. I'v never experienced anything like it.

DO NOT GIVE THESE FRAUDS YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER OR YOUR MONEY!

I have bought a home warranty for my rental property. I have been paying this company for 13 months. The contract was for 12 months only. On the 13th one I have called to cancel the insurance. I have given them the property address of my rental property. They looked it up and said they have no such record of such property being covered. Then they asked for the MAILING address which is just a MAILING address. The agent said that the mailing address was the address insured!!! I have been renting out this house for 13 months, without warranty

Stanley Home Warranty does not return service calls in a timely manner and does not pay bills. We have two policies with them and have had no repair needs for one house. For the other house we had two service calls. We called the claim number and it ended up in voicemail. Noone called us back either time within the time specified. Finally we ended up needing to get the items fixed for the tenants and reached a "manager" Carmine who stated that the repairs were approved and to get the repairs done and Stanley would reimburse us. We did that with both items submitted the bills as requested. Neither has been paid and it has been more than a month on both. We paid our premiums and we paid for the work to be done. Crooked, corrupt. They need to be shut down so others don't experience all this dishonesty.

Never got a call back

I signed up in August 2014 and never had a problem till I filed a claim in March 2015 on my cooktop. I never got any response after email and phone calls. I would get hung up on. They finally sent me an email stating a technician would be contacting me within 24 hours. Surprise no call came. I then called the technician and he claimed he has never worked with them. I have gotten absolutely no where with Stanley warrenty. FRAUD! I cancelled with them and was told I would get a prorated refund and the check had been cut and would arrive soon. Two weeks go by no check arrived .The rep to states I am not due a refund and I now get charged $75 for an early cancellation fee. They are profesional scammers.

I have been reading the reviews and I notice that all the stories are the same as my story. I paid for 15 months/$600.00 later before I needed service and when I did need service no one was there. They never-ever answer the phones. I used every option they had on there phones a nd the phone just rang or hung up. When I fib ally spoje to someone what they were saying to me made no sense. My personal opinion is that this is a scam and I wish I would of found them out sooner. AND TO TOP THINGS OFF.. THEY WANT MORE MONEY.shame on them. This is the perfect example of greed!

This company is a fraud i signed up February 17 2015 for a auto extended warranty for my mothers car i read some of there review and they are all negative and completely correct about this company so i called them because i never received my welcome package that they were surpose to send me three weeks into the agreement i decided to cancel being i never received any paperwork and i requested for a refund that i still have not received I've been hung up on my calls are not being return and they are still trying to take money out of my account I've had to cancel my debit card and I've went through my bank for the refund and my bank denied me because Stanley safe said i never requested a refund and sent them the agreement that i never received this company is just bad i plead with anyone please do not give them your money you will and up in court because that's where Im going i want them shut down because they are thiefs

I paid in advance for a 3 yr contract & have had nothing but trouble from this company. A yr ago i had to get Wells Fargo bank to force them to reimburse me for a preapproved heater coil repair. I *** they wouldnt try to pull that again, but this year they did. I put an order in for a washing machine & microwave repair 6 wks ago & they still have not sent a repair person or given me an spproval code to hire someone myself. I have the gold plan & am not supposed to pay anything. The repair persons name they gave me 5 wks ago says he will not sign a contract with them, yet they havent tried to contract anyone else & they will not return any of my calls or messages. Im going to fo what i can to cancel this contract early now. But they should pay for these current repairs, & i will be contacting my bank again.

Isn't theivery against the law?

I purchased Stanley Safe Club's premium policy thinking my appliance worries would be non-existant, WRONG! I made one claim, a burned out element on my range. The repair was approved and was made, then denied because I was told they didn't cover water damage, water had never been near that sealed element. The repairman even wondered how that decision was made sight unseen. I paid the $225.00 charge.I called them, telling of my dissatisfaction and my wish to quit them, that was last December. Not only did they not let me quit, the b++++++s renewed my policy, I'm fighting that now, so far to no avail. I have never dealt with such dishonesty, and I'm nearing 82 years old.

Cancelled policy - no refund received

I called to cancel my policy which I purchased on Sept. 26, 2014, because the reviews were very unnerving and I feared the worst if I should have to file a claim. I was told there would be a cancellation fee and out of $439 I would be refunded $100.60. As of nearly 2 months later I still haven't rec'd my refund, either by credit card or check. Of course, there is always an excuse by Stanley....when I called he said, 'oh, i made a mistake, it wasn't refunded to your credit card on Feb. 17 as I previously told you, it was refunded by check'. Okay, so I haven't received refund in any way...I do believe that this company is not reputable at all and you should shy away from it at all cost.

One word - FRAUD

I did not check reviews about company before buying 3 policies from them. Filled 5 claims and company did not honor single service request..Following up with them for last 4 months, to my surprise, what I received is threatening email. Company has no intention to service any of my claims. Plus, when I approached them to cancel policy, they will retain more than 90% premium for just 2 month old policy. THIS COMPANY IS FRAUD!!!!! If you faced similar problem and ready for legal action, email me at abhishekaa@***.com. I am already perusing legal path after last threat email!

Here is their 'business model': 1. They collect money from customers. 2. The may (or may not) send a technician to service. 3. They never pay technicians -- One of the companies they called told me they do no service Stanley, because they never pay their bills. 3. If the problem is fixed, they take a credit without pay a service company. 4. They would not pay for any parts needed for repair. Hence, the have only profits, as they never reimburse anybody for anything or pay technicians who do the service. Bottom line: It is case to be referred to the district attorney office at the place of their registration; this is a criminal, not a civil matter.

Having the exact issue. In fact , the service company they sent out over a year ago still sends me the bill hoping I can help get them paid.

My new issue is still not fixed and today the people who they said were coming out called and refuse to come out because of past invoices that stanley never paid them on. Of course no one answers at customer service.

I, William D Black subscribed to the premium policy, my one claim was denied for an untrue reason. After 11 days of trying to talk to a human being, I succeeded and expressed my disatifaction and told him I wanted to cancel my policy. Thinking I was finished with these dishonest people, I found they had renewed my policy. I disputed it but lost. I can't contact them, and my fax will not go through. They do not return calls, as their recording says they will. Am I a captive customer for life? Am I stuck in a 'catch 22?

Stanley Warranty does not pay there bills

I was called to go out on a Central Vacuum call. My company went out spent time diagnosing the problem. Called Stanley warranty got an approval. Repaired the unit and now stanley warranty won't pay its been three months and over 30 phones. Stanley warranty is a company full of liars. They put you on hold for 10 minutes then hang up on you. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. The representatives are bad, I called this company again today spoke to some low life name Antwan and he cursed at me. I'm done with this company and i'm contacting consumer affairs. I don't know how Stanley warranty stays in business.
