I have experienced the same issue and reported Stanley Warranty to my bank to stop any further deductions of payment for insurance to them as they refuse to pay for a claim I opened on my refrigerator.After I came back from vacation and found my frig not working - I opened a claim with Stanley online as they would not take it on the phone.
It took them over a week to respond and finally got someone out after many calls and hang-up's to their company. Then I had to pay for the service fee up front plus another fee for a part which still didn't fix the problem and now they refuse to pay anything to the repair company of whom they sent out to my house. My frig has still not been repaired. I will be taking Stanley to small claims court if nothing else as I don't have money for a lawyer etc.
This is shameful to have a company like Stanley continuing to stay in business.They are a crooked business!
